Eyeglass Case Measurement Guide
Did you know that eyeglass cases are not just used for the sole purpose of protecting your lens's when not in use? They can also be used as way to accessorize your wardrobe much in the same way a woman would use a pocket book for.
Now an eyeglass case with a perfect fit is of the utmost importance for proper lens protection. To make sure you choose the right case for your glasses, you need to measure them first to make sure they fit snugly. The following tutorial is a quick guide on how to measure your eyeglasses or sunglassess properly.
Let's examine an eyeglass case and see how we determine the necessary dimensions:
This is the measurement in inches for an AS20H Polished Eyeglass Case:
2 1/2" W x 5 3/4" L x 1 1/4" H
1) The first measurement, 2 1/2" W is the width which is the area from the top of the lens to the bottom:

2) The second measurement, 5 3/4" L is the length of the eyeglass which is the area measuring the farthest point on the lefthand edge of the eyeglass frame (which is usually the tip of the handle) to the farthest right hand edge of the eyeglass (which is also usually the other tip of the handle).

3) The third measurement, 1 1/4" H is the height of the closed eyeglass. This area is measured from the top of the eyeglass frame down to where the handles cross each other.
